Maples
The Scott Arboretum is home to over 75 types of different maples from around the world. Notable maple groups include Japanese maples (Acer palmatum), red maples (Acer rubrum), and sugar maples (Acer saccharum). A large portion of these plants can be found around the Science Center. Autumn is an especially good time to view this collection of trees.
