Tree Peonies
Tree Peonies have been a part of the Scott Arboretum since its establishment. The collection resides in the gentle slope behind Sproul Terrace. The collection has become one of the finest in the country, displaying over 130 tree peonies. Herbaceous and intersectional peonies are also well represented in the collection, which is organized by country of origin and hybridizer. Yellow magnolias provide light shade for the plants and add even more color and fragrance to the spring display.
