Sunset Sippin'
Enjoy summer evenings with refreshments and the company of your friends in the gardens of the Scott Arboretum. This series of 3 events is made possible by the support of local breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Entrance fee includes: hors d'oeuvres, tastings of the featured drink, and guided tours. The evening will also include a raffle for great prizes, as well as tours by the Arboretum staff. Tickets are available at the entrance to the event or in advance at 610-328-8025 or click here to register online. Tickets purchased in advance come with a free plant.

Swamp White Oaks and Whirlwind Wit

Enjoy this summer evening with the refreshing interpretation of this classic, Belgian “white beer” and the inspiring presence of the 1881 Magill Walk of Swamp White Oaks at the Scott Arboretum. Monarda and Martinis

Chartreuse and Chardonnay

Enjoy the striking color of chartreuse in the Terry Shane Teaching Garden while enjoying a glass of Chardonnay. This year’s annual border features a vivid combination of chartreuse plants like Jasminum officinale ‘Fiona Sunrise’, Nephrolepis exaltata ‘Tiger’, and Xanthosoma maffa ‘Aurea’. The rain location is the Scott Arboretum Offices. Paradocx Vineyard will provide their PDX Reserved Chardonnay with notable fruit flavors of apple and pear with a touch of mandarin and gooseberry as well as a full mouth feel with a light buttery velvet finish for your sipping pleasure.
