Ohara School of Ikebana Exhibition

In honor of the Japanese tradition of viewing autumn leaves (Momijigari, literally “hunting red leaves), the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Ohara School of Ikebana will present a fall exhibition to coincide with the changing colors of our maple trees. Ikebana, also known as the “way of flowers,” is the art of Japanese flower arrangement and is subtle, sensitive, sophisticated, and meditative.

Plan Your Visit to Explore Nature

Stroll through our gardens to admire the beauty of nature or gather fresh ideas for your own landscape. With plants for every season, our grounds offer endless inspiration. Whether you’re new to gardening or a seasoned expert, our tours and programs can help you bring these ideas to life. Nestled within the stunning Swarthmore College campus, often called one of the most beautiful in America, the Scott Arboretum is just a short escape from the city, providing a perfect blend of education, nature, and inspiration.
