Gardens and Tonic: Andrew Bunting’s Home Garden

Grab your favorite beverage and join us virtually with Andrew Bunting, who is now the Vice President of Public Horticulture at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS), for a virtual tour of his home garden Belvidere and learn about many of his unusual plants and plant combinations!
The Gardens and Tonic Series is a question and answer virtual session with horticulture professionals. Join Julie Jenney from the Scott Arboretum and a featured horticulture professional for gardening questions, adventures, and discussion! Participants may be asked to submit photos related to their garden question before the session.
Registration is free but required as sessions are limited. Participants must have Zoom downloaded on their computer and be comfortable using it. Join us for what we know will be lively discussions! The Zoom link will be included in the confirmation email received after registering online.

Andrew Bunting is the Vice President of Public Horticulture at PHS and leads the Urban Design, Public Landscapes, Pop Up Gardens, and Meadowbrook Farm teams. At PHS, Andrew has elevated each department and increased the brand and visibility of PHS through its work. Andrew received his B.S. in Plant and Soil Science from Southern Illinois University. Prior to arriving at PHS Andrew worked at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Chanticleer Garden, and the Scott Arboretum where he was the Curator for 27 years. He has received the American Public Gardens Association Professional Citation, Chanticleer Scholarship in Professional Development, and the Certificate of Merit from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. He also serves on the Board of Magnolia Society International. Andrew published his first book in 2015, The Plant Lover’s Guide to Magnolias.
