Grab your favorite beverage and join us virtually with Shari Edelson, Director of Horticulture and Curator at The Arboretum at Penn State. An expert on all areas of gardening, Shari will lead a “Pot Luck Q&A,” where folks can submit garden-related or plant ID questions and we’ll enjoy an hour of this garden quiz for all! Thank you for sending your garden or plant-ID questions and pictures to Julie Jenney by June 2.
Gardens and Tonic is a weekly question and answer virtual session with horticulture professionals. Join Julie Jenney from the Scott Arboretum and a featured horticulture professional each week on Thursdays at 4 pm for gardening questions, adventures, and discussion! Participants may be asked to submit photos related to their garden question before the session. Registration is free but required as sessions are limited to 25. Grab your favorite beverage and join us for what we know will be lively discussions!
Registration is required and limited to 25 people to allow for conversation. Registrants will receive an email with a zoom link to participate. Participants must have Zoom downloaded on their computer and be comfortable using it.

Shari Edelson serves as Director of Horticulture and Curator at The Arboretum at Penn State, a post she has held since 2013. She is also Chair of the Editorial Advisory Group for Public Garden magazine, the quarterly journal of the American Public Gardens Association. She holds an MS in Public Horticulture from the Longwood Graduate Program and was the Scott Arboretum Curatorial Intern from 2007 – 2008! Shari was a speaker at the 2017 Woody Plant Conference and then again for the Hardy Plant Society Joanne Walkovic Lecture at the Scott Arboretum in January 2019 where she gave us an exciting window into her projects at The Arboretum at Penn State.
