Gardens and Tonic: How to Have Your Trees Perform Like Champions

Grab your favorite beverage and join us virtually for our Gardens and Tonic program on how to have your trees perform like champions with Scott Wade, certified arborist at Longwood Gardens and Curator of the Historic Peirce Collection. Scott is also the past coordinator of the Pennsylvania Champion Tree Program and developed the website He will discuss what makes a champion tree, the steps for providing success for your trees, and answer questions about your trees.

Gardens and Tonic is a weekly question and answer virtual session with horticulture professionals.  Join Julie Jenney from the Scott Arboretum and a featured horticulture professional each week on Thursdays at 4 pm starting on May 14 for gardening questions, adventures, and discussion! Participants may be asked to submit photos related to their garden question before the session. Registration is free but required as sessions are limited to a set number of participants. Grab your favorite beverage and join us for what we know will be lively discussions!
