This inspiring presentation with Jan Johnsen, will have you seeing all the possibilities your garden area offers. By utilizing such ideas as “hide and reveal,” “lure of the sheltered corner,” and “principle of three depths” you can make your outdoor space a place of beauty and delight.
For four decades, Jan Johnsen has committed herself to creating well-being in the garden through inspired design. Her award-winning landscape design firm, Johnsen Landscapes & Pools, is known for serene and noteworthy landscapes. Trained in landscape architecture and professional horticulture, she has worked in Japan, Hawaii, and Kenya, among other places. She has taught at Columbia University and the New York Botanical Garden. A reception will follow with book sales.
