DESCRIPTION:Calling all little nature explorers! Join Celeste Sullivan and Rachel Warren at the Scott Arboretum for mornings full of singing\, stories\, crafts and dancing. Each session is seasonally themed around nature and the garden. This program is designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years old.  \nRegistration Cost: \nMembers at Family membership level and above:  Free for family groups (see below for details) \nNon-Members: $25 per family group (see below for details) \nBecome a member of the Associates of the Scott Arboretum here.  \nRegister Now  \nSession A: 10 to 10:45 am \n \nSession B: 11:15 am to 12 pm \n \nProgram Details \n\nRegistration is required. \nClass size limited to 25 total adults and children. \nFamily groups are at least 1 adult and no more than 3 children.\nSessions will start in the Wister Center with a story and craft\, followed by a short walk to explore a garden.\nEmail us if you have accessibility needs for this program.\nFor more information\, review our program and event policies or call the Scott Arboretum office at 610-328-8025.

Now serving as the Chief Sustainability Officer for the Glenstone Museum in Potomac.\, Md.\, Paul is helping to create a “living classroom” on the all-organic 300-acre site that includes native meadows\, a five-acre organic lawn\, restored streams and tributaries\, forests and more than 11\,000 newly-planted native trees.  \nWinner of the prestigious Communicator of the Year Award from the American Horticultural Society as well as the 2018 Green Medal Award from the Garden Writers of America\, Paul has been featured in thousands of media outlets from Martha Stewart and Good Morning America as well as National Geographic\, Reader’s Digest and the New York Times\, which called him\, “The godfather of the natural land care movement.” He has published four magazines\, including People\, Places & Plants (1995-2009)\, and produced and co-hosted an HGTV show of the same name. His books include the Organic Lawn Care Manual (Storey 2007) and Tag\, Toss & Run: 40 Classic Lawn Games (Storey 2012). His 2010 feature-length documentary film titled\, “A Chemical Reaction\,” profiling the lawn pesticide bans sweeping across Canada and the U.S.\, earned three EMMY nominations.  \nAn avid gardener\, photographer and runner\, Paul\, 61\, now resides at Glenstone with his wife\, Katie\, and daughters Aimee and Angie.
