Nature’s Narratives: Supernavigators: Exploring the Wonders of How Animals Find Their Way

January 13, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

books

Join fellow garden enthusiasts and book lovers as they discuss books about plants, nature, and the environment. “Nature’s Narratives” is a book discussion group sponsored by the Scott Arboretum where readers come together to discuss a book once a month and share in their reading experience.

Weaving together interviews with leading animal behaviourists and the groundbreaking discoveries of Nobel Prize-winning scientists, David Barrie reveals these wonders in a whole new light in Supernavigators: Exploring the Wonders of How Animals Find Their Way.

Each discussion is free and will be offered through Zoom. Advance registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link (and note that Zoom needs to be downloaded on your device to participate).

Participants are encouraged but not required to read each month’s selection prior to the discussion. Nature’s Narratives will be led by Elizabeth Haegele and participants will be free to make comments and be part of the discussion – or just listen in.
