Nature’s Narratives: Mill Town: Reckoning with What Remains

November 9, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

FREE

Nature’s Narratives is the Scott Arboretum’s monthly book discussion group. Join fellow garden enthusiasts and book lovers to discuss books about plants, nature, and the environment.

Kerri Arsenault grew up in rural Maine, with her family’s work tied to a paper mill. As an adult, she learns to understand the destructive actions to the environment by the mill, and the ripple effect they have had throughout her town, and many more.

Participants are encouraged but not required to read each month’s selection prior to the discussion. Discussions are led by Elizabeth Haegele and participants are welcome to share or simply listen.

Each Nature’s Narratives meeting is free and presented via Zoom. Advance registration is required to receive the Zoom link. Zoom must be downloaded on your device to participate.
