Join Tired Hands Brewing Company’s owner and founder Jean Broillet IV, Tired Hands Director of Production Colin McFadden, and Scott Arboretum’s Julie Jenney for an evening of tasting, learning, and talking about beer. This class will cover the brewing process and the botanical components of beer: plants from the grass family such as wheat and barley, as well as spices, yeast, and, of course, hops! In-depth descriptions of each beer will guide you through tasting them. Both Jean and Colin are responsible for all of the operations and production at Tired Hands and have been involved with hop selection in Germany, New Zealand, and the Yakima Valley. Limit 34.
