Wanderings at One: More Than Haggis and Whisky: Garden Touring in the Scottish Lowlands

February 21 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join Scott Arboretum staff and local gardening enthusiasts as they share travel experiences abroad! In addition to learning about spectacular gardens, plants, and landscapes, you’ll get a taste of the art, cuisine, architecture, and customs of lands near and far. It’s a perfect wintertime escape!

Join Jeff Jabco, Coordinator of Horticulture and Director of Grounds, for a tour of towns and gardens of southern Scotland, an area known as the Lowlands. These visits were during early summer at the peak of garden bloom. The gardens show great diversity and creative artistic talent of their owners and designers. Come and be inspired!

Free and open to the public, Wanderings at One is an informal way to share what has been seen and discovered in various gardens and natural spaces throughout the world. Held from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Lang Performing Arts Center Cinema at Swarthmore College.
