Wister Garden
The Wister Garden is a woodland garden, the former home of the Arboretum’s first director, John C. Wister, and his wife Gertrude Wister, who also served as assistant director for 30 years. It is a magnificent spring garden, highlighted by sweeps of bulbs and rhododendrons. Narrow winding paths lead around the gently sloping plantings and connect to the Crum Woods trails.
