Drive On Your Own: Private Garden in Wayne

Join us at a private residence in Wayne for a stroll through newly developed gardens inspired by Chanticleer. Soak up the sights and sounds of this young garden, including a front-yard gravel planting, iconic folly, lush vegetable garden, and a hillside garden with an ever-changing seasonal palette of rare and unusual plants. Native plants pair with these seasonal additions, along with a focus on conservation practices to support the local ecosystem like leaving trees as snags and allowing the leaves to decompose on site. The garden owners will be available to answer questions and light refreshments will be provided.
Registration Cost:
Members: $20
Non-Members: $60 (includes a one-year Individual membership)

- This trip is limited to 25 members of the Associates of the Scott Arboretum.

- Online payment is required to register. No checks or cash will be accepted.
- Restrooms will not be available.
- The address and parking instructions will be emailed to participants the week of the trip.
