SCOTT SAPLINGS

Members of the Scott Associates at the Family level and above can register up to 4 children (ages 0 – 18) as Scott Saplings! These can be any children in your life – kids, grandkids, friends, or family! Please note: The children do not have to live with you, but all mail related to their Scott Saplings registration will be mailed to your address.

Each Scott Sapling receives their own membership card and adventure pack to prepare them for a year of fun at the Arboretum!

Each season, Scott Saplings can visit the Arboretum to collect a secret code word. Collect all four to win a prize! Plus, during select Youth & Family events, Scott Saplings can visit the membership table to collect new items. Join in the fun today!

How much does it cost and how many kids can I register?

They can be any children in your life – kids, grandkids, friends, or family! How do you register for Scott Saplings?

Fill out the Scott Saplings registration form to register up to four children!

How long is my child a Scott Sapling?

Once a child is registered, they are an active Scott Sapling until your membership expires. This expiration date will be noted on their Scott Saplings membership card. When you renew your membership at the Family level or above, you have the opportunity to register them again for another year of Scott Saplings at no cost.

What is the Code Catcher?

Every child will receive a Code Catcher in their adventure pack when they register for Scott Saplings. This code catcher has spots for them to capture the Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring code words. Each season, your Scott Sapling can visit the Arboretum to stamp the code word on their Code Catcher.

The stamp is located in the brochure box outside of the front door of the Scott offices (Cunningham House). Collect all four secret code words to win a prize! Send a photo of your completed Code Catcher to scott@swarthmore.edu and we’ll mail the prize to the address on file for your membership.
