Arboretum Hours

The Arboretum grounds are open every day dawn to dusk; admission is free. The Arboretum Offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to noon and 1:00 to 4:30 pm. For more information, please call the Arboretum Offices at 610-328-8025 during business hours.

The Associates of the Scott Arboretum, an active membership organization, aids the Arboretum's efforts through financial and volunteer support. Membership benefits include the Hybrid, the Arboretum's quarterly newsletter, invitations to special gardening events, discounts on educational events and at local businesses, and two plant dividends a year. Visit the membership page for specifics.

Educational Programs

Horticultural activities for home and professional gardeners are offered including lectures, guided tours, conferences, workshops, short courses, and trips. Scott Associates automatically receive a Schedule of Events; copies are also available at the Arboretum Offices and online.

Horticultural Library

The Arboretum Offices house a library with over 1,300 garden-related books; hundreds of magazines, catalogs, newsletters; and a collection of brochures from gardens world-wide. Search our online card catalog at Library visitors who need special assistance visiting or using the library should contact the Scott Arboretum Offices at 610-328-8025, or via e-mail. Members of the Scott Associates have free borrowing privileges; all are welcome to use books on site.

Special Events

Special events are held such as a biennial fall plant sale in odd numbered years, annual Spring, Fall, and the Winter Celebration. Visit the events page for complete details.
