This spring, the Arboretum has collaborated with an alumna of Swarthmore College, and current Arts Administration Intern, Liza Clark, in a contemplative performance series of interpretive dance. Two performances have already taken place in the Pinetum and the Cherry Border. During the performance at the Pinetum, I was inspired by thinking of all the different ways people use the garden and what plants and garden spaces mean to different people.
Click the play button on the video below to see a clip from last month??s performance in the Cherry Border. Join Liza Clark and Rebecca Patek for the last performance in the Terry Shane Teaching Garden which will celebrate our Fagus sylvatica“Atropunicea” behind the Scott Offices Wednesday, May 7th at 4:15 pm.
