Director’s Series: Containers that Create Spaces

The Director’s Series is a curated, in-person program featuring Greater Philadelphia garden experts, hand selected by our Executive Director, Jeff Jabco. These local horticulturists will provide practical, regionally-specific and accessible solutions to help home gardeners of the greater Philadelphia area.

At Chanticleer, the gardeners are constantly challenging themselves. Creating moments in the garden that changes the experience each season. The challenge can be “how do you rethink the same space every year and improve it”?

This is where containers are a creative solution. David Mattern will discuss the bigger picture, looking at how containers add to the feel of the garden space and how containers fit into the greater context of the home and garden.
