Nature’s Narratives: Rosalie Edge, Hawk of Mercy: The Activist Who Saved Nature from the Conservationists

December 14, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

FREE

Nature’s Narratives is the Scott Arboretum’s monthly book discussion group. Join fellow garden enthusiasts and book lovers to discuss books about plants, nature, and the environment.

Rosalie Edge was a trailblazer in environmental activism. This wonderful book describes her remarkable efforts in establishing local Hawk Mountain Sanctuary and other works that made her one of the 20th century’s most important environmentalists.

Participants are encouraged but not required to read each month’s selection prior to the discussion. Discussions are led by Elizabeth Haegele and participants are welcome to share or simply listen.

Each Nature’s Narratives meeting is free and presented via Zoom. Advance registration is required to receive the Zoom link. Zoom must be downloaded on your device to participate.
