Excursion: Delaware Botanic Garden and More

Our exploration of summer gardens will begin with the Delaware Botanic Garden (DBG) at Pepper Creek in Dagsboro, DE. A showcase of horticulture and ecosystems of coastal plain habitat, DBG includes 6+ gardens including a Meadow Garden designed by Piet Oudolf.
After a guided tour of the gardens, you will enjoy lunch at Good Earth Market and Restaurant. Lunch is included in the price of the trip. You will be asked for your lunch selection the week before the trip.
We will conclude our day shopping at Pepper’s Greenhouse. As described by a customer, “their plant selection is always wonderful, I’ve gotten so many of my plants on my “wish list” there.” Each participant will be limited to purchases that can fit in a 1′ by 2 ‘ crate under the bus.
Trip fees include travel by coach bus with Scott Arboretum staff, entrance fee and guided tour at DBG, lunch at Good Earth Market and Restaurant, and light refreshments on the bus.
