Ohara School of Ikebana Meet & Greet

In honor of the Japanese tradition of cherry blossom viewing (Sakura Matsuri), the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Ohara School of Ikebana will present a spring exhibition to coincide with the blooming of our cherry trees. Ikebana, also known as the “way of flowers,” is the art of Japanese flower arrangement and is subtle, sensitive, sophisticated, and meditative. It utilizes flowers, leaves, and branches, as well as unexpected and/or unconventional materials.
Join us before the exhibition opens to the public for this exclusive opportunity to enjoy the exquisite floral designs and converse with the arrangers. Registration includes individual sushi boxes, sake, and other traditional Japanese refreshments.
